Fall colors at Stonepine's Chateau Noel in Carmel Valley California

If you have ever visited Carmel Valley in Monterey County, California you know how beautiful it is. Today, I visited my client at Stonepine Estate Resort and the weather, although a little crisp, was sparkling and sunny. You wouldn't know it was December 5, because the leaves were still turning.

As I drove through the gate and up to Chateau Noel, the estate's French country mansion, the driveway was flanked by these beautiful trees.  The sun, low in the sky although it was Noon, made the leaves look like dark burnished gold.

I took one photo with my iPhone and the other with my camera.
