If you read my blog yesterday, it was something of a brain-freeze day. Even my iPhone4 froze up in mid-photo taking. Could not do a thing with it. I had taken a friend to an acupuncturist with a very painful back. I was in the middle of taking the photo below while waiting in the waiting room surrounded by countless herb jars with Chinese writing on them. And wondering what they had in them.
Oh, you ask, how to unstick your iPhone4 from not being able to turn it on or off or ANYTHING? Let the battery run out! This takes a loooooong time like hours. But once it did, I could plug it in to be charged and I was back to normal.
And my friend with the terrible back pain, after an hour and a half of acupuncture? Fit as a fiddle. NO PAIN.
But I digress...
Today? Totally different, I am back to a normal real estate broker's day:
1. Set up a showing at one of my listings with an agent whom I really respect. Someone who does not spin her wheels needlessly so I can be pretty confidant that the buyer actually wants to see THIS property.
2. Had a call from a buyer who is interested in a specific multi-plex in town. She had already done her research on my website--she said "it (my website) is user friendly" and actually quoted my services when she called. All good indications.
3. A major storm came through Del Norte County (and everywhere else along the Pacific Northwest) the last couple of days and I had someone make the rounds of my listings to be sure the signs were holding up. They were!!
4. Working on my commercial real estate marketing. It's been getting some excellent results so far. Last week leased out a very tough jewelry store in Carmel-by-the-Sea. More on that later when it opens up. Right now there are a lot of permits, signs etc approvals to work through. I can help with all of these!
